Multisite visual communications

Creative support in care

As the lead facilities management company to East Kent Hospital Foundation Trust, 2gether are responsible for the facilities used by patients, visitors and staff across three hospital sites in Kent. They needed a creative partner they could depend on to deliver frequent hospital collateral and communications.

The Mission

2gether needed a dependable partner to ensure their brand is presented consistently across across the East Kent Hospital Trust sites.

How did the Creative Partnership begin?

2gether initially approached Oak Creative in 2019 to rebrand their cafeteria’s appearance across 3 hospitals. Oak Creative was onboarded to revamp the food offering, to enhance the visual appeal of onsite food and beverage packaging, labelling and signage.

The goal was to elevate the overall ambiance of cafés. Elements of this work never came into fruition due to the pandemic, so Oak Creative assisted with different creative assets which were more beneficial at this time.

This collaboration later expanded into an ongoing comprehensive design resource service.

Why did 2gether need a Creative Partnership?

As the lead facilities management company to East Kent Hospital University Foundation Trust (EKHUFT), 2gether needed a professional and reliable partner to fulfil their high volume of design requirements.

Historically, each hospital site had been responsible for their own design production. It was a natural solution to secure a creative partner who could fulfil all the requirements professionally and deliver a consistent approach across the three sites.

In a collaborative effort between the 2gether and Oak, the goal was to ensure that the identity is effectively communicated across all touch points within each hospital.

What has Oak Creative delivered for 2gether?

Oak Creative designs and delivers a huge range of materials for 2gether each month such as food offerings, branded posters, menus, signage, health & safety materials and more.

These important items underpin everyday hospital procedures and functions. Every item produced by the Oak Creative studio must be concise and consistent, to ensure the effective communication of the client’s identity across all touchpoints within the hospital environment.  The audience includes patients, visitors, and staff members.

What is the goal of the Creative Partnership?

The primary objective of this partnership is to ensure that the brand is effectively communicated to patients, visitors, and staff at every interaction point within the hospital.

Branding plays a crucial role in the healthcare sector, particularly for hospital trusts aiming to establish a cohesive identity across multiple locations. The trust’s brand encompasses its values, mission, and the quality of care it provides to patients.

All communications must be clear and consistent, suitable for a vast audience. By maintaining a cohesive visual identity across these touch points, the hospital trust can enhance brand recognition and reinforce its commitment to delivering high-quality care.

How will the Creative Partnership continue?

Looking ahead, the collaboration between 2gether and Oak Creative is poised to continue evolving.

The partnership will focus on further refining and expanding the branded materials, to ensure they resonate effectively with the public who are interacting with them everyday in busy hospital settings. In turn, this will help 2gether enhance its reputation and foster stronger connections with patients and its wider stakeholder community.

We look forward to continuing supporting 2gether.
