A subtle rebrand
Sophisticated design for a unique stay

The Port Lympne Hotel and Reserve offers high-end, authentic safari experiences based inside their estate in Kent. Port Lympne and Howletts both belong to The Aspinall Foundation, a charity which stands for conserving the planet’s most endangered species.
Howletts and Port Lympne have had a long standing partnership with Oak Creative Design, which speaks volumes in itself. The team always provides a creative, professional and reliable service at a reasonable price. We would highly recommend their services.
What did the rebrand involve?
This rebrand came at a time of strategic importance for the business. Port Lympne in particular was transitioning to an overnight tourism attraction rather than a day trip destination. The decision to bring all three entities (Port Lympne, Howlett’s and The Aspinall Foundation) into the same family had never been done before and it marked the sign of a new chapter for the business.
The criteria for the new branding was to be sleek, simple and sophisticated. This works extremely well as the stunning landscapes, majestic animals and cool accommodation imagery naturally become the hero in marketing materials against a simple brand.
Oak Creative designed a Style Guide which details the specific fonts, layouts and styles which should always be followed. It’s essential to lay down some ground rules for your brand, to make sure it always looks it’s very best.
