Wildshark Vineyard
Blending bold branding with a full-bodied digital experience

When Wildshark needed a digital platform to match the ambition of their growing wine brand, they turned to Oak Creative to bring it to life. With a focus on selling products, booking vineyard experiences, and building a seamless customer journey, the goal was clear: to create a website that not only looked great but delivered real results.
Oak Creative have been amazing to work with – super quick, easygoing and really on it. They totally understood our vision and brought it to life better than we could’ve imagined. We’re seriously happy with the results!
Why did Wildshark Vineyard come to Oak Creative?
Wildshark approached Oak Creative seeking a professional, fully functioning e-commerce website that could support the full scope of their business ambitions. Their previous website had been created quickly to coincide with the initial launch of their wine product range. While this served its short-term purpose, it was essentially a stopgap solution – built with speed in mind rather than strategy.
However, as the brand matured and diversified, Wildshark realised their digital presence was holding them back. The existing website lacked the structure and flexibility needed to support key growth areas, including:
- Booking experiences and tastings – an essential part of their brand story and revenue model.
- Scalability for new product launches – ensuring future wines or merchandise could be added seamlessly.
- Stronger brand storytelling – with visuals and copy that better reflect the premium, local essence of the Wildshark experience.
- Improved customer journey and checkout flow – to support repeat purchases and engagement.
By partnering with Oak Creative, Wildshark aimed to move from a temporary digital setup to a fully bespoke website that not only matched the quality of their product, but also supported their ambitions for growth, brand engagement, and customer experience.
What were the goals of the new website?
The primary objective of Wildshark’s new website was to enable direct online sales, both of their wines and their increasingly popular vineyard tours and experiences. Their previous site had limited functionality and was not equipped to support the growing complexity of the business. The new website needed to evolve from a basic launchpad into a fully integrated platform that could handle the brand’s commercial needs.
How has the new website been rolled out?
The rollout of Wildshark’s new brand and website was approached in phases, ensuring each element was launched strategically to align with product readiness and operational capability.
Phase 1: Website Launch (Without Shop Functionality)
The first stage focused on getting the newly branded website live to establish a professional online presence. This initial launch did not include the e-commerce shop, as Wildshark’s products were not yet ready for online sale. However, the new design and structure laid the groundwork for a seamless customer experience, with improved navigation, engaging visuals, and clear storytelling about the brand and its vineyard experiences.
Phase 2: Introduction of Subscriptions and Gift Vouchers
Once the backend systems were prepared and products were ready, Wildshark introduced:
- Wine Subscription Sales
A recurring subscription model was added, allowing customers to sign up for regular deliveries – encouraging loyalty and establishing a steady revenue stream. - Gift Voucher Portal
A new portal was launched to support digital gift voucher sales and redemptions. This system was designed with flexibility in mind, enabling any Wildshark team member to redeem vouchers across different locations, improving both customer convenience and internal operations.
These additions marked a significant step in transforming the site from a static brand hub into a fully functional, customer-driven platform.
Next Steps and Scalability
The phased rollout strategy has ensured that Wildshark can scale sustainably. With the foundations in place, further features such as product bundles, booking integrations, and seasonal campaigns can be introduced as the business grows – without needing to overhaul the site again.
